DIORSKIN FOREVER REVIEW

All I have ever heard about Christian Dior products is how amazing they are, how long they last, and the quality that you are investing in. As everyone knows, they are definitely on the luxury side of beauty, but i think they are 100% worth it. I wanted to try a primer and a foundation as my first Dior products, firstly because I needed a new foundation, and secondly because I was dying to try Dior’s new collection. So I was really excited when I walked into Sephora, to see the Dior Forever Foundation and Concealer. I decided to pick up the lightest shade of the foundation, just to stay on the safe side, and thank goodness I did, as I find that it’s on the limit of being too dark for me. As that day I was wearing no makeup, I went home and tried out my new products straight away. The primer is light on the skin and is very hydrating. My makeup lasted perfectly till the end of the day, so I was very impressed. The foundation was creamy and easy to blend. It has amazing coverage, but it can also be built up to be super high coverage, without looking fake and caky at all. This might sound silly, but it absorbs concealer extremely well, and the Maybelline Anti-Age concealer is a perfect ‘match’ for it. I am very impressed and happy with these two products, and I highly recommend them. I was so pleased that i went to pick up some more Dior products to try them out, so make sure to look out for some blog posts soon.
Have you ever tried any Dior products?

ESTEE LAUDER BRONZE GODESS BRONZER

The first time I heard about the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzer was quite a while ago in Niomi’s (Smart) video. I saw it and instantly I fell in love. I looked everywhere, but couldn’t find it, until I forgot. Then I saw someone tweet about it and instantly I resumed my search. And luckily they had it in my local Sephora!

CHANEL SIGNE PARTICULIER QUADRA EYESHADOW

For a really long time I have wanted to own a Chanel beauty product, but I never knew which one would really be worth the money. Then I saw a post by the beautiful Victoria from Inthefrow about Chanel beauty, and I fell in love with the quadra eyeshadow set.

TOO FACED SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE REVIEW

I’ve finally got round to writing this post! Sorry it took me so long, I had actually completely forgotten all about it. I picked up the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette quite a while ago. I had heard so much about it I just had to try it out! It’s one of my most used palettes at the moment, because I love the shades.
They’re most on the pink side than the original Chocolate Bar. The colours are very pigmented, and they stay on for a really long time. My favourites, and the ones I use the most are Rum Raisin and Peanut Butter. Even Blueberry Swirl is stunning, but I find it hard to wear it out, as it’s quite a stand out shade.
I also love the smell, chocolaty of course, that makes me very very happy every single time I open it. If you are looking for a palette that’s on the nude/pinky side, I highly recommend this one. Have you ever tried the Chocolate Bar palettes? Love, Sara xx

KIKO MATTE MUSE LIQUID LIPSTICK SWATCHES AND REVIEW

It’s been a while since I last brought any makeup product, as I’ve been saving up like crazy for my MacBook, but now that I’ve bought it, I felt like I owed it to myself for a little treat in Kiko and Sephora. When I went to Kiko i found 5 amazing liquid lipsticks, the Matte Muse Liquid Lipstick collection. There are six colours, but when I swatched them in the store I felt like two the shades 05 and 06 were really similar, so I just didn’t pick up the shade 05. Let’s start from the beginning.
Shade 01 is a subtle and innocent pink, and I absolutely love it for just a simple day look.

Shade 02 is a darker pink, which looks amazing with a brown smoky eye.
Shade 03 is definitely very vibrant. It’s a fuchsia colour, and it’s great to add a pop of colour to any look.
Shade 04 is a very bright red. It’s shiny and very sexy, and with a little black dress, it’s the perfect accessory for a night out.
And finally shade 06 is a dark, vampy red. This is actually my favourite, as I prefer dark or very neutral shades of lipsticks.

These lipsticks are flawless, and they dry really quickly, staying on all night/day. If you’re looking for some new liquid lipsticks, that are all the rage these days, then head over to the Kiko sight and give these a try.

URBAN DECAY SMOKY EYE PALETTE REVIEW

This is my third Urban Decay palette, and they never cease to impress. I absolutely adored the Naked palettes 1 and 3, so I thought I would try out their new one that everybody has being talking about. Starting off with the packaging. They have certainly outdone themselves as it is stunning, and I am in love with I every time I pick it up. They’ve gone for a marble metallic look and I’ll say it once again, I am in love.
When you open it up, there is a double sided brush, as always, but this time the brushes are different. One is amazing for applying and the other one for blending, and the bristles are extremely soft. The shades are actually quite similar to the original Naked palette, except it has a few darker coulours, and less nudes. I will admit, I haven’t picked it up often, and I’m not sure if I’m absolutely in love with it yet, but it’s definitely one to have in your collection, as it’s great for a dark dramatic smoky eye.
I have three favourite shades: High, which is a glittery vanilla colour, and is amazing for the inner corner of your eyes; Armor, a metallic silver that is definitely not an everyday shade, but certainly an beautiful one; and lastly Smolder, that’s a dark autumnal shade, that’s nearly on the purple side, without looking too unique, so it still looks amazing with just a little black dress. I’m still working out how exactly to combine the other shades in everyday life, especially as lately I’ve had a few new palettes to try, that you guys will see soon.
I definitely do recommend this palette though, it has the shades to create some beautiful looks, so send me a pic if you give it a go.
Do you own this palette? Love, Sara xx

TOO FACED CHOCCOLATE BAR REVIEW

Eyshadow palettes are my favourite makeup products after lip liner. I love having a product which can be used to make so many different looks. One of my favourites recently has been the Too Faced Choccolate Bar palette. The colour vary from matte to glittery, with shades that range between nudes and pinks, so it’s got a very neutrl collection of colours. Most of my palettes are like that actually, but this one has something to it that really makes a difference.
Maybe it’s the fact that is smells like chocolate, and that is defiantly a bonus. But other than that, the colours are realy pigmented, they’re super easy to blend, and the range of colours make it super easy to create various looks.
I use this palette soo often, especially the colours Crème Brulee, Amaretto, Cherry Cordial, and Black Forest Trufle. I love creating a dramatic smoky eye that grabs attention straight away.
I really recommend it, and the Too Faced Semi Sweet Choccolate Bar, that will be up on the blog very very soon. Have you ever tried any Too Faced products? Love, Sara xx

PRIMER HEAVEN-CLINIQUE, BBOURJOIS...

Primer is the base of a makeup look, so to make sure you look good, you should have the best primers out there. I have chosen four that I adore, and that I use daily to keep my makeup on all day and to smooth out my skin. I chose two high end brands, and two drugstore ones, so that the price is accessible to everyone.
The first one is the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Base Primer. It’s very highlighting, so it’s great if it’s early in the morning and you want something to make you look alive and awake. It’s also really hydrating. So if you have dry skin, I recommend this primer to start off your makeup routine.
The next one is the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Primer. This primer is amazing if you have spots/pimples, and you want to smooth out your skin before applying foundation. It feels amazing on your skin, and it’s great to make your makeup last much longer.
The third one is the Bourjois happy Light Base Serum Matite. This one is extremely delicate on your skin, it’s great if your skin just needs to be prepped.
And the last one is the Make Up Forever Redness Correcting Primer. So, as the name implies, this primer helps to equalize your skin tone. If you have red patches on your face, this product will not disappoint you, and it will be sososo helpful.
These are my four favourite primers, what are yours?

ONE BRAND OBSESSION-KIKO

Let’s talk about my favourite brand ever: Kiko. We all know that since about June I have loved this brand. Recently I went in there and picked up some things.
The first thing I picked up was the Foot and Heel Relief Cream. I have really dry feet, so I was looking for a cream that could help me with that. This cream is amazing. I have seen such a difference and I’m really glad I bought it.

Then I bought three shades of the Colour Veil Blushes. I’m not really a blush person, so I wasn’t sure if I would actually like them. My favourite shade is definitely 03. It’s the perfect dark pink, that is subtle, and not too ‘out there’. Honestly I don’t really wear the other two, as they’re a bit too bright for me.
Then I got two eyeliners: the Automatic Precision Eyeliner and Khol, and the Definition Waterproof Eyeliner. The first one is great is you want a more smudged effect. It’s great for creating smoky eyes. On the other hand, the other one is great for a sleek cat eye. It stays put all day, and is amazing if you have a long day ahead of you.
The next product is the Mosaic Highlighter, which is literally the best invention ever: it has a perfect glow to add a little bit of shimmer to your look.
Then we have the Miami Click Click Eyeliner in gold. I love this eyeliner to make my eyes pop with a dash of gold. It’s really easy to apply, and it dries really quickly.
Lastly there are the two shades of the Colour-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadow, in the shades 01 and 02. These two colours are perfect together, creating a beautiful purple smoky eye.
As you can see, I absolutely love Kiko, especially as their products are really cheap. Do you own any products from Kiko? love, Sara xx

MY FAVOURITE BRUSHES

Brushes are a big part of my makeup collection, especially as I hardly ever apply makeup with my fingers. I find that brushes are much better for a airbrushed look, and as my skin is really sensitive, it doesn’t get irritated. I have a few brushes that I want to share with you because I’m literally in looove. The first one is a Sephora Foundation Brush 56. It’s my everyday brush, mainly because of how soft it is, and how easy it makes applying any foundation.
The next brush is the Kiko Face Brush n 109. This brush, on the other hand, is a brush I do not recommend. I wanted to add it in here, as it’s one of the only brushes I’ve ever had, that I can’t stand. It has very hard bristles, and it irritates my skin.
Going back to brushes I adore we have the Real Techniques powder brush. I’m very sorry but I can’t remember the name of this brush, but it’s part of their core collection. I use this brush daily for my powder. Really it’s one of those things you need to try to see how good it is. And trust me, it’s good.
Next up we have the Kiko Eyes Brush n 205. This eyebrow brush is literally perfection. It’s great for ‘styling’ your eyebrows however you want them.
The last three of my favourite brushes are all Real Technique, and they’re three out of five of the original eye set. These are the best combination for a perfect smokey eye, or even as a everyday simple eye look. I use them on both  occasions, making them VERY used.
Remember, cleaning your brushes is a really important tip. I did a whole video on how I clean my makeup brushes here.
What are your favourite brushes? Love, Sara xx

MAKEUP FOREVER HD FOUNDATION PRO REVIEW

Lately I have been looking for a new foundation, and I really wanted to try out a Make Up Forever one. So, when I found out that a new product had just been launched, and the reviews were really good, I decided to go for it, and I bought it the next day. As the name implies, it is very high definition, meaning it looks amazing close up and from far away. The colour blends in perfectly to my skin, and the finish is a lively matte. I used a brush to blend it, but I also found that using a beauty blender really helped, as it’s quite a liquid foundation. It gives really good coverage, that can obviously be built up if more is needed. I normally go for quite a light coat, as I’m using it for everyday. I’m not quite sure what my shade is, as I don’t seem to be able to find the box, but they have a variety of about 40 shades. It’s not the cheapest of foundations, but you can be sure it is worth every single penny!
What’s your favourite foundation?
 Love, Sara xx
