SING IN FRONT OF A BIG CROWD #19

Since I’ve was a little girl, one of my dreams has been to be a singer and sing in front of a big crowd. As some of you might know, in March 2014 I joined a band called Sound Chemistry. We play melodic-punk-rock, and I really love our music. We write our own songs, and recently we got the chance to play live twice. Both times there were about 100 to 200 people watching, and I was nervous to say the least. Playing live for any musician is amazing, a dream come true. Even though people didn’t know our songs, and some maybe weren’t even listening, it still felt incredible to have people hear our work. 

Lots of times we back out of things because we’re scared that we might mess up, but I can guarantee you that even if you mess up, you’ll just laugh about it later. It’s better to try and then maybe decide to never do it again, than to never try, and regret it one day. If you want to listen to our band: here is our youtube channel. 

RECORD AN ALBUM #21

In march 2014 I joined a band. We’re called Sound Chemistry and we play melodic rock music. Singing is one of my greatest passions, and I love the process of writing and creating new content. In December, we decided to record an EP. We already had 10 songs, so we had to pick our 4 favourites to feature on the album. After that, we only really had to decide a name. We had different ideas, but none of them really appealed to us, until my brother (also the bass player) suggested we named it Underground Fairytales. Now, you’re probably thinking ‘Isn’t that the name of your blog?’ I named my blog after the album, with their permission, as I fell in love with it. We spent 11 hours in the studio, recording again and again those four songs, until we felt they were perfect. If you want to check out our sound, we have a youtube channel with these four songs.
