FAVOURITE QUOTES #1

’ve always believed that quotes are the best motivation you can get. I often spend hours scrolling through Tumblr looking for perfect quotes that inspire me or represent my feelings and emotions. Gandhi and Martin Luther King are maybe two of the most influential people that have ever lived, and they definitely inspire me to be a better person.

“Change does not roll in on wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom.” Martin Luther King

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi

Marilyn Monroe on the other hand is my ‘Love Doctor’. She blessed the world with her gracious presence and taught me personally the ‘rules’ about love.

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.” Marilyn Monroe

These are some other quotes that made me feel better or encouraged me to do something recently.

“You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.” Jim Rohn

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken” Oscar Wilde
Hopefully these quotes have inspired you to change for the better as they did for me.
What are your favourite quotes? Have you ever heard of these ones?

MAX FACTOR-FACE FINITY 3 IN 1 FOUNDATION REVIEW

Foundation is a product that you have to get right. You can’t go around with a foundation that isn’t right for your skin type, or is the wrong color.

I read about the Max Factor Face Finity 3 in 1 foundation, and immediately knew it was meant for me. I have quite oily skin naturally so I need a foundation with a matte finish.

This one, thankfully, is perfect for me. It gives a lively glow and definitely  makes me look more alive in the mornings just after I have woken up. It blends really easily and you can build up as much coverage as you want.

You can get it here.

What’s your favourite foundation at the moment?

L'OREAL-LUMI MAGIQUE HIGHLIGHTER PEN REVIEW

Recently I find it quite hard to fall asleep at night, which leads to having really dark circles around my eyes. I thought there would be no remedy, but while I was watching a tutorial I noticed the lady (can’t remember who) using a product to lighten up her eyes: highlighter.

I’ve obviously heard of highlighter before, just I never thought I could make any use of it.

So I did some research, and I found one that I thought looked like what I was looking for: the L’Oreal Lumi Magique highlighter pen. Not only does it illuminate all the “darker spots” on your face, but it also can be used as a concealer, covering up any imperfections and blemishes.

Altogether it was a really good purchase, and I’m very happy with it.

 Do you wear highlighter?

ESSENCE-I LOVE XTREME VOLUME MASCARA REVIEW

I’m one of those people who buys mascara and then forgets about it after the first time wearing it out, finding it again after a few months and falling in love with it.

That, however, wasn’t the case with the Essence I love extreme volume mascara. I received it for my birthday and started wearing it the day after, wanting to test it and see if it was any good or not. The next day everyone was complementing me on how good and long my lashes looked, but I believed they were just being kind and thought nothing of it.

When I got home I noticed that I still had really dark lashes, something that with other mascaras I have tried has faded throughout the day. I was thoroughly impressed and happy with this product, and now it is by far one of my favourite drugstore mascaras.

I highly recommend buying it, and it is so easy to find, I’ve seen it everywhere!

What’s your favorite mascara?

L’OREAL-SUPER LINER PERFECT SLIM REVIEW

I’ve never been able to perfect a winged eyeliner, or any time of eyeliner to e precise, and I always thought it was me. I later found out that it was probably just the fact that my eyeliner had a really thick point, and it was impossible to do anything without it looking ridiculous.

As I was looking for a new foundation I stumbled across the L’Oreal stand, and I noticed some new products. Instantly the ‘Super liner perfect slim’ caught my eye, and I bought it five minutes later.

Finally I can now wear eyeliner without feeling like I have something enormous on my eye, and it looks beautiful. It lasts all day and is a perfect finish to a smokey eye or just a simple natural look.

Have you ever heard of this eyeliner?

SEPHORA-SMOOTHING PRIMER REVIEW

I’ve never understood the use of primer, but, as this year I decided I would have to try out new products, I took another trip to Sephora and looked around for some primers. I saw a lot of expensive ones, with special functions, but, as this would be my first time trying out this product, I decided to go for a cheeper version, as I could always go back for a better one.

I ended up having to ask the lady in the shop for the cheapest one they had, and she led me to the Smoothing primer by Sephora. I looked at the 15ml bottle and wondered if it was worth it, seeing as it as so small, but I went for it.

I tried it as soon as I got home and the results were fantastic! My face felt soft and silky and my makeup lasted so much longer than usual. It made my skin look radiant and fresh and I was extremely happy I decided to go for it.

Even though it’s a small bottle, the amount you use is so little that it lasts for a long time.

I nearly forced all my friends to buy it and they were extremely impressed as well!

What primers do you use?

SEPHORA-DAILY MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANER REVIEW

I’ve always wondered how people can wash all they’re brushes without it taking up too many days of they’re week. Then, as I was doing my weekly trip to Sephora, I noticed a new product that I have never seen or heard of. In a little bottle I saw HEAVEN.

The daily makeup brush cleaner is one of the easiest products to use: you just spay once on every brush and then you clean the makeup off the brush with a towel or some toilet paper.

It works fabulously and I’m really impressed. It also was not expensive at all.

It’s an efficient and handy addition to your makeup collection and I really advise it.

How do you clean your brushes?

MINI PERFUME HEAVEN

My grandmother has played golf for several years now, and she often wins perfumes, make-up and shirts. As she doesn't want any of the stuff she gets, it's all handed to me. Over the years I've started to grow a little collection of perfume samples.
Some of them are for men and i don't normally use any of them, but sometimes I go and pick out one of these perfumes and wear it out and about.
