ONE BRAND OBSESSION-KIKO

Let’s talk about my favourite brand ever: Kiko. We all know that since about June I have loved this brand. Recently I went in there and picked up some things.
The first thing I picked up was the Foot and Heel Relief Cream. I have really dry feet, so I was looking for a cream that could help me with that. This cream is amazing. I have seen such a difference and I’m really glad I bought it.

Then I bought three shades of the Colour Veil Blushes. I’m not really a blush person, so I wasn’t sure if I would actually like them. My favourite shade is definitely 03. It’s the perfect dark pink, that is subtle, and not too ‘out there’. Honestly I don’t really wear the other two, as they’re a bit too bright for me.
Then I got two eyeliners: the Automatic Precision Eyeliner and Khol, and the Definition Waterproof Eyeliner. The first one is great is you want a more smudged effect. It’s great for creating smoky eyes. On the other hand, the other one is great for a sleek cat eye. It stays put all day, and is amazing if you have a long day ahead of you.
The next product is the Mosaic Highlighter, which is literally the best invention ever: it has a perfect glow to add a little bit of shimmer to your look.
Then we have the Miami Click Click Eyeliner in gold. I love this eyeliner to make my eyes pop with a dash of gold. It’s really easy to apply, and it dries really quickly.
Lastly there are the two shades of the Colour-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadow, in the shades 01 and 02. These two colours are perfect together, creating a beautiful purple smoky eye.
As you can see, I absolutely love Kiko, especially as their products are really cheap. Do you own any products from Kiko? love, Sara xx

MY FAVOURITE BRUSHES

Brushes are a big part of my makeup collection, especially as I hardly ever apply makeup with my fingers. I find that brushes are much better for a airbrushed look, and as my skin is really sensitive, it doesn’t get irritated. I have a few brushes that I want to share with you because I’m literally in looove. The first one is a Sephora Foundation Brush 56. It’s my everyday brush, mainly because of how soft it is, and how easy it makes applying any foundation.
The next brush is the Kiko Face Brush n 109. This brush, on the other hand, is a brush I do not recommend. I wanted to add it in here, as it’s one of the only brushes I’ve ever had, that I can’t stand. It has very hard bristles, and it irritates my skin.
Going back to brushes I adore we have the Real Techniques powder brush. I’m very sorry but I can’t remember the name of this brush, but it’s part of their core collection. I use this brush daily for my powder. Really it’s one of those things you need to try to see how good it is. And trust me, it’s good.
Next up we have the Kiko Eyes Brush n 205. This eyebrow brush is literally perfection. It’s great for ‘styling’ your eyebrows however you want them.
The last three of my favourite brushes are all Real Technique, and they’re three out of five of the original eye set. These are the best combination for a perfect smokey eye, or even as a everyday simple eye look. I use them on both  occasions, making them VERY used.
Remember, cleaning your brushes is a really important tip. I did a whole video on how I clean my makeup brushes here.
What are your favourite brushes? Love, Sara xx

MAKEUP FOREVER HD FOUNDATION PRO REVIEW

Lately I have been looking for a new foundation, and I really wanted to try out a Make Up Forever one. So, when I found out that a new product had just been launched, and the reviews were really good, I decided to go for it, and I bought it the next day. As the name implies, it is very high definition, meaning it looks amazing close up and from far away. The colour blends in perfectly to my skin, and the finish is a lively matte. I used a brush to blend it, but I also found that using a beauty blender really helped, as it’s quite a liquid foundation. It gives really good coverage, that can obviously be built up if more is needed. I normally go for quite a light coat, as I’m using it for everyday. I’m not quite sure what my shade is, as I don’t seem to be able to find the box, but they have a variety of about 40 shades. It’s not the cheapest of foundations, but you can be sure it is worth every single penny!
What’s your favourite foundation?

I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON THE BETTER THAN SEX MASCARA!

If there’s one product I’ve been dying to get my hands on, it’s the Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced. It’s maybe the most talked about mascara of the last year, and to say I felt like I was messing out without it is an understatement. So when my local Sephora, A.K.A Life Saver, finally got some Too Faced products in, I ran to be the first one with ALL of them. And yes, I got every single product they had. Unfortunately they only had a small version of the mascara, but I thought it would be better than nothing.
As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was perfect for me and I understood what all the fuss had been about. The volume and lengths it adds to your lashes is a beautiful effect, leaving you looking breathtakingly beautiful and confident. It’s not the darkest of mascaras, but it still has that element of darkness, that makes it perfect for an evening look as well as a simple day out. It really all depends on how many coats you apply. If you’ve recently been looking for a new mascara, I one hundred percent recommend this one, as it’s one of the best mascaras I have ever tried. Thank God for Too Faced (and the lovely ladies in the Sephora shop)! Love, Sara xx

BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL MASCARA REVIEW

When I’m looking for a new mascara I normally just go straight to the Essence counter, as I know that their mascaras never fail to impress.
But the other day, as I was looking at the new Benefit products, my eye fell on something I had never seen before. It’s the They’re Real mascara, that works wonders on lashes.
I bought the small container, as I wanted to test it before I bought the more expensive one, and I most definitely will have to go back and get it. I tried it the next morning, and I was amazed by how long it lasted and how dark my lashes were all day.

I will admit that by the end of the day it was very hard to take it off with just makeup wipes, but thankfully they also sell the makeup remover that goes with it! It feels like it grips onto your lashes, curling them upwards beautifully, without the need of a curler.
I was extremely impressed with this product, that you can buy here.
Benefit is so quickly becoming my favourite brand, and I ‘m so excited to try other products of theirs.
Do you love Benefit?
Love, Sara xx
ps. you can buy it here

MY LOVE FOR GLEE

Late last year i finally got round to watching one of the most famous tv shows ever: Glee. I was super late to join the thriving fanbase that had been there since the begging, so I thought I would just enjoy it by myself. I watched the first four series back to back in two months, enjoying two or three episodes every evening, depending how tired and how desperately I was craving more. It became an obsession to say the least. The connection I felt towards each character was probably ridiculous, but I managed to fall in love with every person on that show. I still haven’t watched season five and six, but to make up for that I’ve watched the first four twice. I feel like this is a show that makes us all feel like we’re part of something, no matter how big or small it may be. The storyline is fantastic and the singing will take your breath away every time. If you haven’t watched it, I really recommend it, it’s one of the best pick-me-ups of all time and a great way to waste your time :)

KIKO BB LIP GLAZE SWATCHES AND REVIEW

I think we all love new lip collections, so when I managed to get my hands on the new Kiko BB Lip Glaze, in all the eight possible shades, I was very happy. I’ve had them for a little while now, and they’re available in all stores and online. To sum them up they are lip glosses, with a shiny and dewy finish. They are extremely moisturizing, and they’re amazing if you have dry and chapped lips like mine.
The shades are very simple, with a variety of nudes and light pinks. When I originally saw them, I thought the colours were going to be vibrant pinks, as that is what most of them look like in their packaging. I was very pleasantly surprised actually when I saw the actual colours of the products, as they’re perfect for wearing on top of many lipsticks.

I do think that you don’t need every shade in the collection, as the colours are pretty much the same, but I do recommend a few. My favourites are the shades 02, 04, 07 and 08. In this way, you will have a nude, a light pink, a darker pink, and a subtle light purple. As I’ve said in many posts and videos, Kiko has quickly become one of my top three makeup brands, as I can always rely on the quality of their products. Everything is also very cheap, which is something that makes me and my purse very happy. So, if you’ve been looking for some new amazing lip glosses, I really recommend the BB Lip Glaze by Kiko. (p.s I'm so sorry for my skin in the last few pics, my skin got really irritated because i kept on putting on and taking off the lip glosses xx)
